No, the free ride is contingent on engaging with the advertisements. If you choose to skip ads, you will be charged the full fare for the ride.

6. What happens if I don’t want to watch ads?

You can opt out of the ads before confirming the ride request and pay a regular fare for the ride, similar to other rideshare services.

7. How does FURE make money if rides are free?

FURE partners with advertisers who pay to reach engaged audiences. This funding covers ride costs and ensures a seamless experience for riders.

The duration depends on the length of your ride. Ads are proportionate to travel time but won’t exceed reasonable limits.

12. Can I choose what kind of ads I see?

Yes! You can customize ad preferences in the app to see content that’s more relevant to you.

13. What if I have a complaint about a driver?

You can report any issues through the app, and FURE’s support team will take appropriate action.

14. Do I need a credit card to sign up?

Yes. A credit card is required for paid rides. However, if you choose the fure ride option, the ride is free as long as you view the ads and answer the questions at the end of each ad. (Credit card info is kept on file in case the rider decides to pay for the ride or is charged for not watching the ads.)

15. Can I book a ride in advance?

Yes, Riders can schedule up to 3 months in advance, in certain locations for now. Check the app for details and locations.

Note: Riders can pre-pay or pay half the fare amount in advance to lock in a scheduled ride. If the rider is a no-show, the rider will be charged a fee of $10 for a no-show.

Your vehicle must meet and pass FURE, State & Local rideshare/taxi standards, must be in good and clean condition, less than 5 years old, and must pass a state safety inspection to ensure safety and cleanliness.

6. Do I need commercial insurance to drive for FURE?

FURE provides liability coverage for drivers and riders, but you must also have personal auto insurance that meets your state’s minimum requirements.

Note: Drivers in all states must have full 1-year or 6 months of vehicle insurance coverage.
