Role Overview

We are on the lookout for a Lead UX Developer to join our innovative team at FURE. This vital role will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-friendly designs that enhance user experience across our digital platforms. You will lead a team of designers and developers, collaborating closely with product management and engineering teams to ensure our solutions are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of user-centered UX solutions, ensuring they align with business goals and user needs
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions
• Establish and maintain design standards and best practices across the organization
• Mentor and guide junior UX designers, fostering a collaborative and creative environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience
• Utilize analytics and user feedback to iterate and improve design solutions continuously

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design principles
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar
• Experience in leading design projects from concept through execution
• Strong understanding of user research methodologies and usability principles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple projects

Preferred:

• Experience with front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

• Deep expertise in user experience design principles, wireframing, and prototyping
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate user data and inform design choices
• Knowledge of responsive design techniques and mobile-first design considerations

Soft Skills and Cultural Fit

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present and explain design concepts effectively
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for creating outstanding user experiences
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Benefits and Perks

Salary range: $75k to $95k
