Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Rideshare Driver to join our innovative transportation team at FURE. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient rides to your passengers while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive brand image.

Responsibilities

• Operate a vehicle in a safe and responsible manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with their needs and ensuring a pleasant ride experience.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Utilize the rideshare app to accept rides, navigate to pick-up and drop-off locations efficiently, and manage passenger interactions.
• Adhere to the company's safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of all passengers.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and share best practices with fellow drivers.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the last 7 years.
• Vehicle less than 10 years old with current/updated state safety & emission inspection.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in rideshare or transportation services.
• Undergo a background check, financial check, psychological check and virtual road test.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends if preferred.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of local traffic patterns and routes.
• 3+ years of experience using rideshare platforms or delivery apps.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot vehicle issues (we'll teach you).

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

• Proficiency in using GPS and navigation systems to optimize routes.
• Familiarity with rideshare applications and digital payment systems.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.

Soft Skills and Cultural Fit

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with the transportation team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and passenger needs.

Location

As needed in the Chicago market and its metro area. Some rides may/ or require travel as far as 20+ miles in some situations.
