Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead PHP Developer to join our dynamic team at FURE. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and developing robust mobile & backend solutions using PHP, while leading a team of talented developers in the design and implementation of scalable mobile applications. You will be the go-to expert for PHP technologies and play a critical role in shaping our development processes and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance web-to-mobile applications using PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs that facilitate seamless integration with front-end components
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including coding standards, version control, and automated testing
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot complex issues using tools like New Relic and DataDog

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in PHP development, with a strong portfolio of web applications
• Deep expertise in object-oriented programming and software design patterns
• Proven experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of web security principles and best practices

Preferred:

• Experience in Advertising industry or related field
• Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

• Proficient in PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony) and MVC architecture
• Experience with API design and development (REST, GraphQL)
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines

Benefits and Perks

Salary range: $75k to $95k
