Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Organic Performance Account Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is primarily responsible for supporting and operational lead on their accounts, responsible for the smooth day-to-day delivery of high-quality SEO work, and delivering world-class client service, creating strong relationships with their brands and social following. Candidates should have a proven track record in organic search and online marketing, supported by an understanding of campaign and digital content marketing. Working closely with specialist teams across each of the advertising disciplines to deliver and be able to interpret clients’ briefs and deliver inventive and effective solutions that meet their real-world business challenges. We need someone who will understand a client’s goals and objectives, research their market, understand their consumers, and apply creative thinking to develop a strong brand & marketing strategy that will help them to hit meaningful performance objectives (improve rankings, increase traffic, drive sales volume and ROI, etc)

Responsibilities

  • Main day-to-day contact with clients in the delivery of the SEO strategy, demonstrating an enterprising and proactive attitude to all aspects of the project delivery.
  • Have a deep understanding of the client’s business, brand, sector, competitors, and audiences.
  • Ensure all client requests are met and surpassed in a timely, professional, and efficient manner, with client expectation managed effectively.
  • Responsible for setting up, preparing, and the delivery of regular client status meetings and reports.
  • Responsible for the management and delivery of client SEO work, such as on-site, technical audits, and reporting
  • Work closely with the Organic Performance Director to understand and proactively manage client short, medium, and long-term objectives and expectations.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO roles with a proven track record of executing successful campaigns on Meta, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat, and Pinterest.
  • Certifications in social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Blueprint) are a plus.
  • Good knowledge of key SEO tools (Google Analytics, SEMRush, Accuranker, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success analyzing data and using analytics tools to drive marketing decisions
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Google Sheets.
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and spreadsheet software.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present campaign performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Agency experience in a strategy-centric SEO role.
  • Previous experience with client-facing responsibilities and building strong relationships.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the Advertising industry or related field
  • Genuine interest in digital advertising/media/marketing (ESSENTIAL), with an organized and systematic approach
  • Highly motivated in bringing a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Excellent organisational, communication (oral and written), workload, and prioritisation skills
  • Possess a passion for problem solving, an eye for detail, patience, and a highly motivated “can-do” attitude

Core Skills

SEO Strategy and Project Management

  • Independently manage deliverables for our clients and ensure everything is of industry-leading quality
  • Applies best practices to campaign management and acts as the escalation point for issues
  • Manages and takes ownership of projects from start to completion, maintaining accurate pipeline and campaign information across all key systems.
  • Delivers accurate reports with value-added insights and actionable findings to improve performance.
  • Monitors performance through Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and performance dashboards, and tracks this performance against forecasts

Commercial Acumen

  • Completes the finance process for all assigned clients, including carrying out regular budget management checks.
  • Ensures exceptional finance management by accurately completing the GroupM finance process for clients, including any required booking and reconciling activity within the deadline and addressing finance queries.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the financial impact of decisions/solutions to drive projects and analyses that support the organization’s mission.
  • Understands all third-party costs for each client and ensures that these costs are not exceeded at any point

Data Analysis

  • Develops new methods and procedures for collecting data.
  • Performs complex data analyses and presents findings on the underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
  • Guides others to critically analyze client and performance data and acts as a subject matter expert on outcome models.
  • Takes ownership for data being sourced accurately and the integrity of conclusions drawn by the team.

  • Utilizes understanding of practice area/ industry terminology, industry players, and key performance indicators to draw conclusions.
  • Applies knowledge. Remains aware of practice/industry changes, challenges and findings; integrates industry issues for client benefit.
  • Serves as an expert on how products/services/systems are applied across a particular practice area/industry; recommends the best options for the business.
  • Effectively guides junior team members on the technicalities of the platform/system and best practice application.
  • Develops relationships with relevant stakeholders to maximize their value.

  • Quickly generates appropriate solutions informed by previous experience.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

  • Deep expertise in Google Analytics, SEMRush, Accuranker, etc..
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and methodologies in audience sciences
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools, including Excel/Word/etc..
  • Demonstrates an understanding of complex offerings and tailors solutions to meet the unique needs of the customer.
  • Demonstrates advanced understanding of products, technologies, and offerings, including but not limited to research tools, automation tools, and technical analysis tools.
  • Coaches other colleagues in building their knowledge. Leverages knowledge of competitors’ products and services as well as their strengths and weaknesses to compare choices.

Location
