Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Data Management Director to lead our data governance and management strategy at FURE Ad Technologies. This role is integral in shaping our data architecture, ensuring data integrity, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with various teams to establish best practices in data management and oversee the implementation of data solutions that align with our business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data management strategy that aligns with organizational goals and enhances data accessibility across departments
- Lead the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
- Oversee data quality initiatives, including the identification and resolution of data quality issues
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to architect and optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing systems
- Manage a team of data professionals, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Establish and monitor KPIs to assess data management effectiveness and drive strategic improvements
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance data management capabilities
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or related fields with a proven track record of leadership
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, and data integration technologies
- Experience with data quality management and data lifecycle management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on strategic thinking
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred:
- Experience in the Advertising industry or related field
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Professional certifications in data management or governance (e.g., CDMP, DAMA)
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to drive insights and reporting
- Experience with data security and privacy frameworks and regulations
Soft Skills and Cultural Fit
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for relationship building
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making

A successful candidate will be expected to work from the office at least 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days.
